Elkhorn's favorite fall tradition returns on Saturday, October 17, rain or shine. Elkhorn Oktoberfest fills the entire downtown area with live bands, bratwurst, and golden beers, rounding out the Oktoberfest season on the third Saturday in October. Oktoberfest Returns to Downtown Elkhorn
Walk Wisconsin St for a full day of local and German cuisine, with craft and commercial vendors filling the park on both sides of the street. Live music kicks off at 11 a.m. and plays straight through to the end of the day across two stages. D'Lite Duo opens the Main Stage from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Stateline Playboys featuring the Zweifel Brothers take over the North Stage from 1 to 4 p.m., and D'Lite Duo Band closes out the Main Stage from 2 to 5 p.m. Pair the music with the All Around Town Beer/Wine Tasting, a self-guided way to sample pours from businesses across downtown Elkhorn while you explore.

Beyond the music and food, Oktoberfest packs in a full slate of family activities. The Oktoberfest 5K Run/Walk gives early risers a reason to lace up before the festivities begin, and the Annual Classic Car Show rolls in on a first-come, first-park basis starting at 8 a.m. downtown. If stein hoisting sounds like a competition worth entering, registration opens at 11 a.m. at the North Stage. The Elkhorn Chamber has confirmed the festival runs rain or shine, so plan to dress for the forecast either way.
